I thought they were Aero guards...
but I thought You were in the US or UK !!
 
My Son bought the first set of aero guards ever sold...
they are on a 1956 oval with 68 auto beetle chassis
they have Porsche sloping headlamps in them...
 
My rear valance is fiberglass and made by Sherman in Queensland..
there are a copy of the late valance..
 
I suppose i could live with those large tail lamps...
as they do look OK on Your car...
 
My Sons wife has a baja beetle that a fellow fitted IRS to...
Hes been having lots of problems over the past 3 years..
with the IRS.. it has very large tires on it...
and goes on gravel roads frequently...
last time the axles were hitting the horns...
but He's a welder too so He can keep fixing...
He re inforced the horns I think...

Hi Gary,
 
I do get to Adelaide about once a year or two as My sister in Law and family live there..
I would like to drive My beetle over there...
but its a long  way...lol

Aero Guards/fenders were first made by Richard Holzl before He left VVDS in Sydney. He now is - formula Vee racing
