22nd Annual Michigan Vintage Volkswagen Festival, celebrating all things air-cooled in the world of classic VWs! This year, to be held on Sunday May 17, 2009 on the grounds of Karmann USA (near Michigan 14 and I-275), Plymouth, MI. Our traditional kick-off party will be Saturday night at the Box Bar in downtown Plymouth, where there are about a hundred beers on tap! No-judging car show for all variations of the aircooled VW—daily beaters, original restorations, Cal-lookers, customs, drag cars and buggies; Traditional shameless sale of “Best-in-Show” trophies, pass-in-review, and other shenanigans.
Swap meet, vendors, food, music, tours of Karmann’s convertible manufacturing and vintage cabrio top restoration facility.
Pre-registration for show cars $8 ($12 at the gate).
Swappers/vendors are $15 for a 17' x 20' space, $30 for a double.
Proceeds benefit local charities.
The MVVC has donated over $35,000 to local non-profits over the past few years!
