A local VW/foreign car mechanic, (whose been a bug specialist from back in the day...), he is a wealt of information and loves to share it!  He has approximately $40k in NOS parts.  What do y'all think are the kind of parts I should stock up on?  He does not have carbs., generators, or stuff like that, but many other parts: cables, clutches, brake drums, uh, do you get the idea?  I want to send him a list of parts, what should I ask for?  Thanks of any of your input...

I'd get a list of what he has to sell and see if you can sell some of the stuff at http://www.thesamba.com

Industrius idea...  I was just thinking what kind of items would be best to stock up on.  I have enough stuff now to keep my Rat-bug, (like -"Rat Rod") running well for a good while.
